About the Show
The New American recounts the story of a young Irish girl whose family was forced to send her to America in 1910 due to hard times in Europe. Journeying alone to New York, she holds the same hope as the other immigrants of her time–the hope for a better life in America.
This production is recommended for teens aged 11 and up.
