The Guest Lecturer

A.R. Gurney’s The Guest Lecturer recieves its New York premiere at The New 42nd Street Theater. This is a story of a guest speaker in world drama qho agrees to a public interview at a regional theatre. While on stage with his facilitaltor – the matriarchal sex queen of the commuity – he discovers he’s slated for a ritual murder. To save his skin, he must dig to the depths of his knowledge and satisfy a bloodthirsty audience. Ian Marshall directs.
