Adam Parrish’s The Gospel According to Adam tests the very fiber of the historical events surrounding the Bible. The tales of the Bible live and breathe within all of us. Most of us can effortlessly recognize the brothers Cain and Abel, Noah and his Ark, and the very naked Adam and Eve. Perhaps it is because we live in a predominantly Christian country, or perhaps it is because these Biblical tales have been the inspiration for so many of the stories told today. The Gospel According to Adam is very much about the nature of stories and their “possibly true” origins. Challenging us to further investigate what we once thought was fact. I mean, seriously, what inspires warmth and laughter better than the Bible?
