The Furies

In an established Melbourne suburb, a sudden matricide creates suspicion and paranoia among its well-heeled inhabitants. The unknown killer within their midst has everyone looking at one another in a new light. When a rich fifty-something mother fails to appear at an important family function, obsessive fear finds a voice. Drawing on the reaction to the recent Wales-King murders, The Furies is a dark comedy about the destructive nature of excessive wealth and the ways in which it manipulates and distorts loyalties.
