About This Show

Hanna Hayes stars as Ethel P. Savage, a widow who is placed in The Cloisters, a home for those mentally unstable, by her stepchildren. While at The Cloisters, Ethel is watched over by Miss Willie, a sweet and tender nurse and Dr. Emmett, a caring man. The reasoning behind the placement of Ethel is quite simple: greed. Ethel’s stepchildren–Titus, a slimy Senator, Lilly Belle, a sultry socialite, and Samuel, a joke of a judge–want nothing more than to be rid of their stepmother, so they can ensure that their father’s inheritance will land in their hands.
