The Concept

Based on true stories from their decline into the drug world and their self-motivated rise from it, The Concept is performed by seven rehabilitated addicts from renowned drug treatment center Daytop Village. This new incarnation weaves hip-hop rhythms and music with updated stories that reflect the universality of the struggle to cope with the terror of everyday life and the need for community that grows out of that personal struggle.
