Taps and Words Meet Coltrane and Bird

Actor, dancer and poet Joseph Monroe Webb displays his potent poetry and rhythmic feet with original arrangements of John Coltrane’s and Charlie Parker’s music. Webb teams up with Lafayette Harris, with whom he worked on Bring In Da’ Noise, Bring In Da’ Funk, and together they contribute original compositions to the show. Joining Webb and Harris are vocalist Du Pree, saxophonist/flutist Talib Kibwe, bassist Belden Bullock and drummer/percussionist Yoron Israel.
