Tales of the Black Veil 5

Tales of the Black Veil 5 is the latest in NYC’s longest-running Original Vampire Staged Showcase. Tales of the Black Veil showcases new writers, performers and directors in the genre of Vampire Fiction. Tales of the Black Veil started in 1999 at The Producers Club with only 8 stories mostly written and directed by Nightforce International Productions founder Rod Barnes and has been in annual production since (with one exception in 2005).

Tales of the Black Veil features stories of Vampire Drama, Comedy, romance and anything in between and allegedly features writers and performers who are vampyres. This year’s edition brings us seven new stories, four directors, eight writers and one revived story from the Original Tales. Making its rare departure from the usual October opening, Tales will open in mid-November due to scheduling conflicts. but, as Mr Barnes would attest, “just because Halloween’s over it doesn’t mean the Vampires go away…”
