Swim Shorts

Swim Shorts is an evening of site-specific theatre set in and around the Holiday Inn?s rooftop swimming pool! The program is a series of two separate evenings of five original one-act plays, all written specifically for this swimming pool / rooftop setting.

The ten plays that comprise Swim Shorts were selected from over two hundred submissions specifically written for this location and include plays from such writers as Rich Orloff (Off Broadway?s comic revue OY!), Robin Rothstein (Off Broadway?s On Deaf Ears) and T. S. Mitchell (Merv Griffin Productions).

Following each performance audience members are invited to relax poolside and swim under the stars at the hotel sponsored ?Oasis Club? until midnight.

Passes to the Oasis Club are an additional $10.

A portion of all proceeds from this event will be donated to the Boys? Club of New York, located on 10th Street and Avenue A, which is celebrating its 125th year anniversary.
