Sugar Salon

Celebrating its third year, the Sugar Salon series continues its support of exceptional women at the forefront of contemporary choreography. This shared evening of work will feature an excerpt of the acclaimed American Rendition by Bessie Award-winner, Jane Comfort, as well as premieres by Heather Olson, Deganit Shemy, and Anna Sperber. Sugar Salon is an annual mentorship and residency program co-sponsored by Barnard College Department of Dance and Williamsburg Arts neXus (WAX). Sugar Salon is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. WAX also receives funding from the JPMorgan Chase & NYSCA Regrant Programs, administered by the Brooklyn Arts Council, Inc. (BAC)
