About This Show

Set against the contemporary backdrop of New York City, Strangerhorse centers around Zach, a 30-something white hospital volunteer. While volunteering,
Zach meets and takes pity on T. Rex, a 16 year old black drug dealer whose grandmother is in the hospital. T. Rex entrusts $15,000 cash to Zach to be used to pay his grandmother’s medical bills. Trouble erupts when Zach’s
boyfriend, a 29 year old black man named Graham, finds the cash in Zach’s briefcase. Margarett Perry in association with Access Theater and Axial Entertainment present the World Premiere of Brian Dykstra’s dark comedy, which explores issues of race, homophobia, class, ethics, and
morality.

There is an added performance on Monday, April 22 at 8:00pm.
