Straight Out

Filipino performance artist, slam poet, stand-up comic and gay activist, Regie Cabico is a star on the slam poetry circuit, and is the winner of MTV’s “Free Your Mind” competition. He has been seen on HBO’s “Russell Simmons Presents Def Poetry” and on PBS’s acclaimed series, “In The Life.” In addition to hosting four Monday evening open mic events during the Urban Theatre Arts Festival, Regie performs his solo performance piece, Straight Out, directed by Reg E. Gaines.
