New York City
Steve is a brutal dark comedy about three guys, each of whom vests their moral compass on a different North Star. One is guided by honesty, another by loyalty, and the third by spirituality. And yet despite their good intentions, they all try to kill each other. Unlike other existential plays that are sighing and languishing, Steve is a hysterical existential play with real teeth. This unpredictable one-act was written by Stephen Belber, the powerhouse playwright who wrote Tape and Broadway’s Match.
Michael Lew directs a cast that includes Jason Liebman*, Jackson Loo*, and Paco Tolson. Produced by special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc. (www.playscripts.com).
