About This Show

Charles Ludlam’s satirical “backstage play” receives its first New York production since the original Ridiculous Theatrical Company presentation in 1975. Stage Blood features a traveling theater family forced to do Shakespeare’s Hamlet amidst backstage antics of seduction and murder. It satirizes the high stakes, high camp world of theater. Michael Goldfried directs.
