Best friends Andrew and Edward share everything, including their taste in women. Andrew is even engaged to Edward’s old girlfriend. When a vivacious woman named Georgie enters their lives, it’s no surprise that both men become infatuated with her. In contemporary Pygmalion fashion, Andrew tries to “improve” Georgie by encouraging her to read, cleaning up her language and changing her taste in clothes (and shoes), and falls in love in the process. Edward, not wanting to lose to Andrew again, becomes more determined than ever to seduce her. Yet Andrew and Edward, for all their good intentions, must learn to accept this blue-collar girl caught in a white-collar world for what she is before either will win her affection.
