She Keeps Time

She Keeps Time is a two-act production of two independently written plays, Suzan Lori-Parks’ Pickling and Allison Eve Zell’s Come to Leave. The characters in each are wildly different, one being an African-American middle-aged woman locked inside her home for years and the other being a Jewish woman graduating from Vassar. They both react similarly to their parents’ deaths, employing curious and playful means to mourn and move on.
