David Mamet’s Sexual Perversity in Chicago is updated in this 2002 version of the playwright’s 1970s one-act tragedy of jealousy, love, obsession, and betrayal. Danny and Deborah are a pair of young lovers whose steamy relationship is threatened by the mysoginist ravings of Danny’s friend Bernie and the jaded cynicism of Deborah’s roommate Joan.
