Serpent Song transports audiences to a world of wise witches, flying serpents, unrequited love, and long-overdue debts to the dead. Despite this fantasical universe, existence is bound by the laws of cause and effect; the inhabitants are unable to outwit the gods, and so must face their inescapable fates. But the prophesied birth of a princess signals a cry for change.
Guarded by the dutiful Serpent King, Nino awaits the day when the God of the Underworld will come to collect her. Only action can free her from an unwanted fate.
Serpent Song is written by Morgan Sheehan-Bubla and directed by Josh Adler.
