Rockshow busts onto the FringeNYC scene as “Rock Theatre” – A New Genre for A New Generation. Sky Spiegel Productions introduces a cross-pollination of legit theatre, rock music, and audience interaction. This live performance experience merges the boundaries of reality and fiction, taking the traditional theatrical narrative and injecting it with the group energy of a live concert, giving the audience a pure rush of adrenaline and entertainment.

On the eve of their CD release party, members of the dedicated NYC band GROUP THERAPY all have their own reasons for staying or leaving. Meanwhile, using her feminine wiles, financial investor Christine is manipulating the front man, Bobby Black, into giving her manager status; drummer Michael, dealing with insecurity and self-worth issues, sees right through her. 32 year-old lead guitar player Adam, the oldest, must choose between his friends or the record label that is courting him into signing as a solo artist. Bass player Mary finds herself caught in the middle of it all while dealing with her increasing attraction for Adam. Add to the mix: a feisty music critic, a cunning record label executive and a soulful bartender– you’ve got one night that could make or break a band’s career.
