Rip Me Open tells the story of a female private dick who’s seen it all. He’s a blonde bombshell waiting to explode. In this filthy, lonely city some secrets just can’t stay hidden. Rip Me Open draws on influences from film noir to Dennis Cooper and Haruki Murakami, as it follows two wise cracking desperate souls as they investigate a case of threatened violence and psychosexual intrigue. Created collaboratively by Desiree Burch, Michael Cyril Creighton, Kyle Jarrow, and Brian Mullin, Rip Me Open, is presented as a part of the Evolve performance series and is a mysterious, hilarious journey into the dark heart of desire.
