Rest Stop Rendezvous

Jordan Fuchs has been making dances professionally since 1992, creating work that straddles the boundaries between choreography and improvisation, melding a concern for careful design and craft with an appreciation for the improvised, the unexpected, and the unknown. Rest Stop Rendezvous, choreography by Fuchs in collaboration with dancers Rafael Cohen, Jennifer Dignan, Veronica Dittman, Carolyn Hall, and Storme Sundberg, is the evening-length premiere of a dance of intersecting intimacies. Entwined in a desolate and deserted landscape defined by the slide projections of Katie Glicksberg and the soundscapes of Andy Russ, six strangers journey together to a place they don’t know, for reason they can no longer remember.
