About the Show

Near a vacant lot in Philadelphia on an unusually hot Fourth of July morning, a 73-year-old black WWII veteran recounts a wartime romance. Around the corner, a young white woman picks up her drug-addicted brother for a holiday family gathering. Down the street, two teenaged boys clutch a bag of stolen fireworks, hunting for a place to set them off. Writer/performer Julie Polk stars as these characters and more in Red White Black & Blue, returning to New York after its premiere at the 2002 New York International Fringe Festival.

The final performance on Saturday, January 25 begins at 10:00pm.
