About the Show

Four one-act plays inspired by the Spanish Civil War.

Manhattan Theatre Works’ Newborn Festival winning playwrights Kimberly del Busto, Carol Carpenter, Cody Daigle and Riti Sachdeva draw inspiration from the poetry of Miguel Hernandez, the paintings of Juan Genoves, the photography of Robert Capa and the sounds of flamenco, to warn, inspire and create change with plays that commemorate the Spanish Civil War.

Directed by Dev Bondarin, Isaac Scranton and MTWorks’ Co-Artistic Directors Antonio Minino and David Stallings.
