About This Show

Small Appliance Puppet Theaterpresents Puppet Government as part of the 10th annual New York International Fringe Festival. From Austin, Texas — once home to George W. Bush — comes a brave troupe of appliance-wielding actors to tell the story of the President and his Cabinet as never seen before.
In this political satire, the Appliance-in-Chief and his friends sing and dance in musical numbers, deliver bizarre press conferences, and start an exciting war.

When the President needs help, the WrongCo Appliance Salesman is always there with a new product. But some gadgets, such as the Amazing 12-in-1 War ‘n Iraq, don’t quite live up to WrongCo’s promises. “Sharp political jabs!” – The Daily Texan. “Best of the Fest,” 2006 FronteraFest theater festival, Austin, Texas.

Chris Humphrey directed the show, composed and arranged the music, and designed the puppets.
