Plugged: A Rock Opera follows the story of a grandmother, her son, and his daughter. One is dying, one is in denial, and one keeps a safe distance from it all. Anna has estranged herself from her family - until now. She returns home to repair her relationship with her dad and attempt to grant her grandmother's dying wish - except that no one understands a word the old lady says. Becoming convinced that a demon has possessed her grandmother's mind, she embarks on a demented odyssey. A respirator machine comes to life, she has a showdown with a rambling cowboy, and confronts Evil Incarnate. Follow the journey of a young woman trying to connect with her senile grandmother, emotionally detached father and her own misconceptions in this twisted, heartfelt and rockin' tale. Plugged is presented as part of the 10th annual New York International Fringe Festival. Schedule Saturday, August 12th at 5:30 P.M. Sunday, August 13th at 2:00 P.M. Monday, August 14th at 3:15 P.M.
