About the Show

The Lark Play Development Center announces the plays and playwrights selected for its ninth annual Playwrights’ Week Festival. A full schedule is listed below.

Additionally, on June 19th, Playwrights’ Week writers and esteemed playwrights John Weidman (Assassins and Contact), Kia Corthron (Light Raise the Roof and Breath, Boom), and Lisa D’Amour (Frossbite and My California), among others, will open the festival with a discussion on “The Playwrights Role in Fostering Social Change.”

Fri., June 25
6pm: Sometimes I Feel Like I Missed the Train by Michael R. McGuire
8:30pm: Trash by David Schaller, music and lyrics by Camara Kambon and David Schaller

Sat., June 26
5pm: Welcome to Arroyo’s by Kristoffer Diaz.
8pm: Two One-Acts by Yussef ElGuindi
