About This Show

Why Platypi? The platypus is a duck-billed, beaver-tailed, otter-footed, egg-laying mammal! It appears to be many different mammals blended together to create something rare. We have done the same by taking 10 very different plays and creating an exceptionally unique festival. A summer 2008 internship project of Merit Theater and Film Group & 13th Street Repertory Company. All plays were written in Terence Patrick Hughes’ Playwriting Class. Playwrights: Jessica Aloe, Alexis Freitag, Stefanie Horowitz, Matthew Kern, Jerry Lieblich, Sandra Nordgren. Scott Rodrigue, James Saad, Juliana Thorstenn, Kathryn Willingham
