Sara Barron’s solo show People Are Unappealing returns to the People’s Improv Theatre. People Are Unappealing showcases Barron’s signature high-energy style of straight-forward, old-fashioned storytelling featured in her last show, Orange Girl, that was taken to the 2004 H.B.O. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, CO. People Are Unappealing has a distinctly modern, distinctly urban edge as it tackles experiences and individuals that, while they run the theatrical gamut in terms of theme and character, all center upon varying facets of the urban living experience.
