About This Show

Out of the Blue is a festival of new works featuring four short plays, directed by Sarah Easterling and Catherine Miller. The plays all deal with the unexpected, whether it is through the breakdown of a WASP family’s belief system (Am by Stuart Perelmuter), a chance meeting of a former couple on a NYC street corner (Cold Front by P. Seth Bauer), a vision of God with a message of healing (Jolt by Truly Ball and Anthony Lawlor) or a satire on the Americal Government (An Impartial Account of the War by Stuart Perelmuter). This is the first endeavor of Maya Productions – a company founded by Sarah and Catherine, and run by the two of them along with members Anne Carlisle, Lee Cavellier and Maria Schirmer.

Acting in the plays are Anne Carlisle, Lee Cavellier, Tom Demenkoff*, Sarah Easterling, Nicholas Gray*, Joseph Menino*, Wanda O’Connell, Maria Schirmer, Kim Schultz, Rachel Shapiro*, and Kelly Smith. Lighting Design is by K J Hardy. This is an Equity Approved Showcase.
