Our True Colors

Our True Colors was born in response to the events of 9/11, along with the students’ experience of being Americans at this moment of history. As our country still struggles with the shockwaves of 9/11, this diverse cast of NYU high school students have created a beautiful dramatic tapestry of their reactions through this original production. Public school students from all five boroughs have come together at NYU’s Creative Arts Team (CAT) to create this insightful and emotional piece that uses the American flag as a metaphor to explore the true nature of humans – our true colors.
