Ophelia

Fresh from the sold-out engagement of Fade to Black at Times Square’s The Tank, Gotham Dance Theater will be presenting a one-night gala performance of its summer play Ophelia.

Ophelia is a comedy about a hot new movie star who is cast as Ophelia in an all-male production of Hamlet on Broadway. Unfortunately, he knows as much about women as he does about acting.

Part love letter to the entertainment industry and part vicious indictment of traditional gender roles, all proceeds from the performance of this new play will go toward making Gotham Dance Theater’s 2015-2016 season a reality.
