About the Show
Founded by standup comedian Angelo Lozada and featuring Danny Gonzales, Eric Nieves, Selenis Leyva, Marilyn Torres, Jeannette Torruella de Plaza, Glaco Navaja and Marlyn “Tita” Matias, Nuyorican Rules is a comedy troupe that bases its humor on the urban, social, political and familial Latino experience. The troupe has been featured on “Showtime at The Apollo” and on Metro-TV’s “New Joke City.”
