Murder, Madness and Lady Macbeth

Murder, Madness and Lady Macbeth, written and performed by Rebecca Ortese, follows the thrilling story of an actress whose life drifts dangerously close to the role she plays. When she falls in love with a new man at the same time she is cast to play Lady M, we witness how her relationship twists into that of her Shakespearian counterpart. First developed through Mabou Mines/Suite artist residency program and mentored by Lee Breuer, the solo performance is now presented as part of the Chip Deffaa Invitational Theater Festival.
