About the Show

A scurrilous rumor circulating for the last three hundred or so years, suggests that Molière is dead, the victim of a coughing seizure amid the performance of his final play, The Imaginary Invalid. This production finds Molière alive, better than ever, and performing as Timothy Mooney. Not only is the celebrated French playwright still alive, but in Molière Than Thou, he speaks English, and is every bit as insightful, ribald, irreverent, and enthusiastic as he was the first time around.

Part of the 2003 New York International Fringe Festival. Venue and dates TBA.
