Miracle on 34th Street

This year, for its December offering, The Heights Players brings back a classic holiday story, one that never grows old. Miracle on 34th Street is based on the novel by Valentine Davis, telling the heartwarming story about Kris Kringle, a white-bearded man who is the personification of good will and holiday spirit, and who also claims to be the real Santa Claus. Kringle is hired as a Macy’s holiday Santa where he completely enchants children and shoppers, but is deemed dangerous by fellow employees. These employees question Kringle’s competency and they plot to ruin him. A small girl’s belief in Santa and the magic of the holiday are at stake in a climactic courtroom decision.
