About the Show
Playwright and actor Jon-Michael Hernandez presents a fresh examination of the life story of Joseph Carey Merrick, better known as The Elephant Man. Hernandez brings his own personal experience with disability to Merrick’s Gallery, which underscores the idea that in each life, there is always a feeling of estrangement from humanity. This performance is part of the New York International Fringe Festival.
