It never felt so good, it never felt so right! Downtown darlings bring to life performa-rock Meat Loaf’s entire BAT OUT OF HELL album. Featuring dance, burlesque, storytelling, singing and some well designed karaoke – Meat! is a performative meal unto itself.
Everyone’s favorite rock-star’s (and AT&T spokesperson) classic 1977 album has informed generations of performance artists and would-be Broadway superstars. In humble honor of its greatness, seven artists, a drag queen and a dance troupe (and special guest) have combined to make this HOT SUMMER NIGHT into a spectacularly funny, dirty and rockin’ good time. With our tops off and our hearts on our sleeve we will toast to Steinman and Aday’s summer epic and invite the audience to return with us into HELL!
