Love Storyless

Love Storyless is a hybrid of ballet and modern dance, creating a link between beauty and awkwardness within a focused and distinct structure. Choreographer Pam Tanowitz contrasts the ballon of ballet with the groundedness of modern, integrating a rigid physicality with an abstract sensibility. This seemingly unconnected material which mixes both lyrical and disjointed movement combines to create this piece, a representation of the conflicting forces that move us through today’s post-everything landscape.
