About this show

In 1922, famed director Harold Stimple created his silent film masterpiece, Love is in the Air. But on the night of its star-studded premiere, the master print of the film mysteriously vanished. Harold was ruined and his opus was lost to eternity. Flash forward to 2004 -- in a tiny Estonian village, a traveling clown troupe, the Kiek in de Kök Players, unearths the original print. Not knowing the importance of their discovery, the clowns screen the film at a local tavern. As the forgotten images flicker across the screen, the clowns are amazed at what they have found. As soon as the film finishes, the crowd of performers and townspeople cry out for a second viewing. But when the projectionist begins to rethread the ancient film, the celluloid crumbles in his hands.
