This musical/dance/drama is based on the real life story of Reverend Ben Torres, the Senior Minister of The Bronx’s Church of The Revelation. During his younger years in Brooklyn, NY he was a heroin addict and a gang member and it was there he went on a journey to Hell and survived. Using the pulsating beats of Hip Hop, the smoothness and the rhythm of Spokenword, and soul shaking Gospel along with powerful dialogue, playwright Emmitt Thrower captures the tumultuous times and makes it entertaining and captivating for all to experience.

You will feel the pain, experience the torment and agony of heroin addiction and see lives destroyed through drugs and prostitution and violence. Through it all, you will find room to laugh and smile at some very interesting characters and their antics, a journey you won’t soon forget. A journey Rev Ben Torres never forgot.
