The WorkShop Theater Company presents Last Stand, a semi-surreal comic tragedy set in a Suburban household on Thanksgiving Day in the not-too-distant future. A mass movement has taken siege of the country as people are dropping out of society to become the “New Indians.” As the family inside the last house circles the wagons to stave off the Indian revolution, their own deep-seeded resentments threaten to tear them apart. Alliances are formed and broken, hostages are taken and fires burn bright. Still, before anyone can confront the enemy out there, each character must confront their own fears, hopes, wounds, and lost dreams.
