Judy’s Christmas Garland

Upon hearing that Christmas with the Crawfords wasn’t returning to New York this year, Love Bomb Productions recruited the director, cast and crew of the hit musical to create this year’s Holiday Happening for New York City: Judy’s Christmas Garland, a new cabaret-musical featuring the cast of Christmas with the Crawfords.

One part cabaret, one part musical, the show features Judy and an ensemble of characters including her overly-fussy stage manager, her ambiguous fianci, a recently converted Marilyn Monroe (singing “Dreidels are a Girl’s Best Friend”), and a stunningly soulful Mahalia Jackson. And of course, be sure to expect the unexpected, by way of a couple surprise guests arriving in a cloud of fairy dust and the eerie blue light of an alien tractor beam. Featuring 12 songs, from the classic “Coventry Carol” to a swinging “Winter Wonderland.”
