The Brooklyn College Department of Theater will present Stephen Adly Guirgis’ Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train, directed by Mary Beth Easley. In Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train, Angel Cruz, angry that his best friend was brainwashed by a cult, shoots the cult’s leader. Jailed on Riker’s Island, he meets Lucius Jenkins, a serial killer who has found God while awaiting extradition to Florida’s death row. Will Lucius help Angel find redemption?
