About This Show

Jesus and Mandy is set in the bubblegum ’70s, and Jesus is on a collision course with depression. His only hope: Mandy, the self-proclaimed “sickest little girl in the world,” a recently deceased pre-teen determined to circumvent her fate and stay on Earth as a Funky Girl-Ghost by proving that quick thinking, ingenuity, and kickin’ dance moves will be enough to keep the Messiah from skulking off into oblivion. David Drake directs.

“And the award for spring’s most unusual play goes to Jesus and Mandy! Sure fire laughs! Bonus points for originality!” – Broadway.com

“A campy comedy chock full of dance numbers! Writers Bernat and Carrigan imagine an afterlife where Jesus is a miserable slacker. The result is a thought provoking and touching escapade with lots of laughs.”- NYTheatre.com
