PasticheNYC and Torn/Page will present Jane Austen’s Persuasion Song Cycle with book by Jane Austen and music by Ludwig van Beethoven. Conceived and directed by lyricist Emily King (House of Mirth, Fighting Words) with invaluable aid from musical director and audio editor Emily Duncan (Bowie Cello Symphonic: Blackstar) and video editor Tony Torn (Bluefish).

Featuring a stellar diverse and distanced cast of 12 out-of-work singer-actors and 15 homebound classical musicians, paid thanks to a generous grant from the Roy Cockrum Foundation just in the nick of CoVid time. The online performance schedule for Jane Austen’s PERSUASION Song Cycle is as follows: gala opening Thursday, July 29 at 8pm EST.

Tickets will act as a Pastiche Pass, enabling the ticketholder to stream the performance at any time from Thursday July 29 at 8pm through Sunday, August 1 at 11pm.
