Intersections

An oratorio for chamber ensemble, radio transmissions and video by artist Ray Sweeten, Intersections weaves the fractured narrative of Proem Baldus’ ongoing investigation of swan suicides, neurological experiments and adaptations from Ovid’s Metamorphoses.

Sweeten has released music on Beige Records, Teen Beat, TBTMO, Suction, Ghostly International and has produced music for MTV Japan and Italy, Panasonic, Sesame Workshop and Benetton. His sound and video work has been screened and performed at The Kitchen, MonkeyTown, PS1, NY Int’l Film and Video Festival, New York Underground Film Festival, Pacific Film Archive, Aurora Picture Show, Chicago FilmMakers and the Liverpool Biennial.
