The International Dance Festival — NYC, now in its third year, has established itself to be a true reflection of the diversity of aesthetics within the realm of dance. IDF-NYC was born out of the belief that a need existed for dance to unite as one voice, regardless of aesthetic genre, or discipline. IDF presents modern, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, Latin, African, musical theatre, tap, aerial, and multi-disciplinary genres; representing commercial, cutting edge, and experimental works; bringing together uptown, downtown, and out-of-town choreographers at all stages of their careers.
