About the Show

Berlin in the early 1930s: a time of tumult and a time of change. Young writer Christopher Isherwood comes to the city to observe and winds up getting swept into the world of a rising Nazi Party, the insidious spread of anti-Semitism, and, most of all, the spell of chanteuse manqué, Fraulein Sally Bowles. I Am A Camera is the basis for the musical Cabaret.
