About This Show

A workshop performance of new musical theater shorts based on Hamlet, directed by Cara Reichel. The show brings together teams of composers and lyricists responding to different sections of the epic that speak to them. Hamlet agonizes over his choice of a breakfast menu in one section entitled “Omelet” and in another section, Hamlet becomes a modern day rock star. Taking a fresh approach to the age-old classic, Hamlet Sings will offer the audience an opportunity to re-acquaint themselves with characters they only thought they knew.

Including new works by Prospect alumni Peter Mills and RIck Hip-Flores, and many others!

Appropriate for ages 12+
