Grand Junction and Disintegration Loops

Award winning British choreographer Charles Linehan has developed his own clear choreographic language drawing on the individual human qualities of his dancers. Disintegration Loops includes recordings of disintegrating tape loops of piano fragments. Grand Junction explores the shifting psychology and terrain of the relationship between performers Greig Cooke and Andreja Rauch. Rigorously choreographed and densely atmospheric, the duet is driven by Julian Swales’ compositions of cyclical acoustic guitar samples and is saturated in pure white lightning designed by Mikki Kunttu.
